Education: Convent of Jesus and Mary in Bombay, Grammar School in London. Honours Degree in Ergonomics and Cybernetics from Loughborough University.

Life-Critical Design Challenges

CERN

I worked for decades on major elements of the largest control system in the world at CERN, where my colleagues Tim Berners-Lee and Robert Cailliau invented the WWW.

Medical Imaging

At CERN, I also worked under Nobel Prizewinner Georges Charpak for whom I designed the Intelligent Video Capture Board for the Prototype PET Cancer Scanner he developed at CERN.
I also worked on MRI scanners, Gamma Cameras, and Ultrasound scanners.

Aircraft Safety

Aircraft Black Boxes, and Instrument Landing System (ILS), also Air Traffic Control Voice Recorders.
